I was glad I could stay here with my pet. The property grounds are nice and well-kept, but I didn't see any security patrolling the grounds. There seemed to be people hanging out in the parking lots living in their vehicles, and I didn't feel safe outside especially at night when I would have to take my dog out to use the restroom. The lady at the front desk was very nice when she checked me in and the lady working at the restaurant was very friendly and helped me order a breakfast sandwich. I don't understand why they did not allow anyone to use the large pool during the week. They do have 2 other pools but the one only for weekends seemed to be much nicer. I did go gamble at several casinos, and I guess I am only a depositor so someone else can win the big pay outs. I couldn't even win $5 it was ridiculous. This visit was a total disappointment!

Stayed at Southpoint for two days, never left so you would have to venture out to find out. Although, we have been all over Las Vegas for years, it has gotten really expensive and some parts like downtown, really disgusting. Not for kids at all unless you stay at a kid oriented place and not go to far from that. Overall, we usually have fun there and would do back.

Not for me!
Not for me! I wanted to see real Las Vegas but all roads and bus passes lead to the strip. The Deuce and the monorail all were challenging and must go through a LOT of each casino you were near. I felt manipulated by the town but saw on local news places to go like the (seems weird but important) Atomic Museum. We don't all don't have travel agents to point out all of the sites that aren't full-on tourist traps but it was good to see once.

Too hot on days so be prepared lots of stairs, escalators, walk bridges, so if you dont like heights its hard work,, go into hotels walk through cooling off and so many shops/eateries/themed areas. Use a good size cross body bag or small back pack, take photo ID and a water bottle everywhere.

Las Vegas wasn't the main focus of our trip.
Las Vegas wasn't the main focus of our trip. Our stay in Las Vegas was on the way to and from the Grand Canyon. Was good for that purpose, due the large number of flight selections in and out of Las Vegas and the large amount of available accommodations.

Vegas is Vegas, it's just mental.
Vegas is Vegas, it's just mental. Been there 4 times since the 80s. Used to take 2 miles to walk the strip, now it's 10 as you have to go on 8 walkways and into 6 casino's takes forever. the Duce bus takes 4 hours to do a roundtrip.
it's all about "taking your money" it's a unique place, but it's not a cheap place get a car if you want to do the dam or the Grand Canyon. If you like to fly do a night-time helicopter trip over the strip will blow your mind
Same price as the rip-off Sphere
Great size room, had a lovely view towards the pools. Really friendly staff. We could check in earlier for a reasonably decent upgrade fee. Lots of check in desks available. The hotel has everything you need: large casino, shows, bard and restaurants, bridge access to New York New York and Luxor, shops etc. Loved the buffet restaurant for brunch, open until 2pm, and the cost was $31 per person (as of March 2024, probably the cheapest of all main hotels on The Strip but also definitely not the poshest). Easy check-out.
All the staff were courteous and efficent and always happy to help. The location on the strip is very convenient. The hotel makes check-in and check-out very convenient.
For smokers this is also perhaps the only hotel left on the strip to offer smoking rooms which is probably the only reason we still stay on the strip. All hotels in Las Vegas should realize that the only reason the city exists and thrives at all is for FUN and not for health or anything even slightly virtuous.
I've stayed here multiple times. It's relatively inexpensive for the prime location but you get what you pay for. The room is actually fine, has everything you need and they seems to make an effort in providing an accommodation but where it suffers is that it looks like a Spring Break hotel, the clientele is a bit noisy and the rooms are shabby. But you don't pay for parking, you can walk to many spots on the Strip and it's usually cheap enough.
Grand Canyon was our main reason for visiting Las Vegas, and we wanted a decent hotel at the lowest possible price. Considering the Vegas price range, this was the best option available. The location was convenient, with a handful of restaurants and convenience shops nearby. The room was spacious, but the hotel was not unique, just another big hotel with no character.
The by far cheapest 5 star option in Las Vegas and I have no idea why??? This Hotel is so clean and so beautiful. The location is great. It's not on the Strip and they don't have casino, which is great, because it's quite.
I'm sure, that it's because of the Trump brand, it's cheap and people wont visit, but come on. This place is so amazin
Fantastic property with all the amenities and location for a luxurious stay in Las Vegas. Room views of the Sphere are hypnotic and attending an experiencing there was one of a kind! The hotel is also next to the Las Vegas Fashion Mall - so very convenient for walking into a prime shopping mall on the Strip.
Location was okay, cheap for an uber to and from the strip. Staff was terrible the rooms were dirty, the hallway floors are absolutely atrocious and the evaluators were super sketchy.. I could go on and on. Do not stay here just spend the extra money and stay on the strip at a well known hotel.
The rooms and facilities is spacious. I enjoy the less attractions and quiet surrounding. A quick drive conveniently to the main attractions of the Las Vegas strip. It is also close to the convention center and walking distance to the tram station to various hotel on the strip.
The hotel is non smoking which is fantastic and the only one on the strip. The room was the cheapest of the main hotels and for the price was excellent, we got more than anticipated for our money. The check in and check out was easy and location was great
It was my first time staying in downtown Las Vegas. I received a complimentary upgrade. The suite was so gorgeous that I decided to stay and cancel my reservation at the Cosmopolitan. The hotel is ADULT ONLY, it was great not hearing kids running around.
Well equipped kitchen. Good filter coffee, we requested more.
Although small we also made good use of the gym facilities.
Great location, short walk from the strip yet the cost was much cheaper than those hotels closer or on the strip. Value for money.
Central strip location is probably the best in Las Vegas. The hotel is attached to mediocre casino. Reception is small and not always staffed. There are no other facilities you would normally associate with a hotel reception. You get what you pay for.
It was on the strip and it was close to a fair amount of places. It was a cheaper rate than other surrounding hotels and it was a good place to sleep. The casino was also conveniently close to the elevators.
Hotel is newer and clean, parking is free, and it is close to food and shopping options. A quick Uber ride made it a much cheaper option than a hotel on the strip.
